Band Moms (aka The Student Chaperone and Hospitality Team) is dedicated to creating a safe, organized, and positive environment for our performers during all football games, tournaments, and parades. This team provides the essential care, supervision, and logistical support that allows our students to perform at their absolute best.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Student Chaperoning: Supervising students during transits and event days, ensuring safety regulations and school policies are maintained at all times.
Performance Preparation: Assisting with plume placement and adjustments on shakos (performance hats) right before the ensemble takes the field or parade route.
Hydration & Nutrition: Managing on-site water stations and distribution to keep the entire ensemble properly hydrated throughout long event blocks.
Field & Route Logistics: Walking alongside the ensemble during parades to monitor student well-being, and assisting with traffic control or boundary safety at home football games.
Health & Wellness Support: Acting as the first line of response for basic student medical needs, coordinating with first-aid leads or directors when necessary.
