Orchestra Camp at Mt. Carmel offers four days of focused and intensive training for our string players. Under the expert guidance of our staff, students will engage in daily rehearsals with our clinicians and full ensemble rehearsals. The week of immersive musical instruction culminates in a collaborative concert on Friday, featuring performances by the Orchestra, Marching Band, and Color Guard—each showcasing selected pieces developed during their respective camps.

Orchestra Camp is about building a solid music foundation for the season. It’s a very intensive “music boot camp,” but these weeks are a cornerstone of one of the best high school music programs anywhere.
Volunteers are always needed. Ask a Music Foundation Board Member or Committee Chair how you can help for a single day or multiple activities throughout the music season. Camp Lunchtime we are in need of parents to help serve food, setup and tear down tents and tables.
