Arcadia Festival of Bands & SCSBOA 6A Championships
This action-packed Saturday marks the epic conclusion of our competitive marching season! We start the day with our final parade performance at Arcadia and finish under the lights at the SCSBOA Division 6A Field Championships, featuring the top 12 bands in Southern California.

Schedule & Timeline
The following is a general timeline based on previous years to help you plan. Final, exact performance times will be distributed as soon as they are released by event organizers.
7:00 AM – Call Time at the Mt. Carmel Band Room
7:30 AM – Buses depart for Arcadia
10:00 AM – Arrival at Santa Anita Racetrack parking lot. Parade Band prepares. Non-parade students head to the parade route with chaperones to cheer on the band, following them to the stadium afterward.
12:00 PM (Approx.) – Mt. Carmel Parade Performance
1:00 PM – Parade Band changes into street clothes at the buses.
2:00 PM – Parade Awards at the Arcadia High School Stadium.
3:30 PM – Load buses and depart for Citrus College.
4:15 PM – Arrival at Citrus College (Senior Line!).
5:00 PM – Stretch, warm up, and change into field uniforms.
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM (TBD) – Mt. Carmel Championship Field Performance!
8:00 PM – Line up for Stadium Band Retreat (In full uniform, no shakos).
8:30 PM – Full Retreat Championship Awards Ceremony.
9:00 PM – Return to buses, change into street clothes, and load gear.
11:45 PM – 12:00 AM – Estimated arrival back at Mt. Carmel High School.
Food & Hydration Logistics
Food arrangements depend on our final assigned performance slots. The band will either purchase food from the vendors at Arcadia High School, or the Music Foundation will provide a catered meal at Citrus College prior to the field show performance. Stay tuned for final details!
